How we handle your reading.

What we collect
Photos, video, voice recordings, and text responses you submit to generate a reading. Payment metadata from Stripe (card data is never stored by us). Basic request logs (IP, user agent) for abuse prevention.
How it’s used
Your submissions are sent to our language model provider (Anthropic) and, for voice/video, a transcription provider (Deepgram) to produce your reading. The resulting reading is stored so you can retrieve it via your link.
How long we keep it
Reading records are retained by default so you can revisit your link. Raw uploads are held only as long as needed to generate the reading, then deleted. You can request deletion of your reading at any time by emailing support@petals.app.
Third-party consent
If you submit another person’s likeness, you must have their consent. The free audit flow requires you to confirm this before submission.
